In Schodack, a local group filed a lawsuit to stop a proposed fulfillment center, even as town officials support the project Cities across the US are currently fighting tooth and claw to be the home of Amazon’s second headquarters. But not everywhere is so happy when Amazon comes to town. Schodack, New York, a town of about 13,000 people just south of the state capital of Albany, is currently facing the possible construction of a 1m-sq-ft Amazon fulfillment center.
